Meeting Description

Who

Anyone who interested in facilitating change in Mississippi regarding vaccination exemptions, and/or anyone who wants to learn more about vaccination options or our organization. We welcome fully, selectively, or non-vaccinating parents.

Why

We'll be discussing how to promote awareness of vaccination risks and informed consent rights.

Details

Dr. Debra Barnes will be hosting this meeting. Ms. Judy Brasher will be presenting some information on the past attempts at obtaining better exemptions for Mississippi. We will have a question/answer period, and we will be inviting anyone who feels passionate about this issue to get involved! We need people to work closely with Dr. Barnes to promote the group, recruit new members, and organize meetings.

We will have social time from 6:00 - 6:30, and then hold the meeting from 6:30-7:30. We will have refreshments and children are welcome.

    The meeting went well. I met several people and they each seem passionate about this issue. I'm glad they came, but I want MORE. I know of at least one other woman who should have been there and several that showed interest. Hopefully, it was a combination of things that kept them away and when we begin to advertise on a broader scale, we'll begin drawing much larger groups. Ann Brasher knows much!
