Who Should Join This Meetup Group
The Metaphysical Mommas & Poppas Meetup was originally based in San Jose, CA but has expanded to the Bay Area thanks to other organizer mommas & poppas. It's a tool for connecting spiritual people who happen to be parents, too, with other spiritual people with kids.

This is about happy, spiritually-minded parents who wants to hang out with other spiritually-minded parents.

Or maybe you're not happy because you are desperate to find other like-minded mommas & poppas to hang out with so you can stop going bonkers. That works, too. LOL!

Parents with kids of all ages are welcome. Well, kids still of the age where they do play dates with their parents, I guess. Or who are home schooled. You get the point. :)

Oh! And pregnant new mommas are welcome, too. You can start getting spiritual community support before your birth. Sweeeeet!

What This Group Is And What It Is Not
This group is not about a political or ecological agenda. It IS about being able to meet other parents who can talk about crystals, shamanism, astrology, reiki, law of attraction, spirit guides or whatever they're currently studying or practicing...

...no matter if they bottle or breastfeed, school or homeschool, cloth diaper or not, etc. etc.

Play If You Want To
I'm committing only to the things that feel right for me and my family. You should, too.

If you want to come out and play, do. If it doesn't feel right for you, don't. It's that easy!

I believe that if we listened to our intuition all of the time we'd flow more and grow more and sometimes it may be with this group and sometimes not and then sometimes back again. If it's "meant to be" for you, it will.

This group is only viewable for members - so only members can see who's a member and our calendar and such. (Just in case you were concerned about putting your kid's info up there.)

You Feel Called?
I started this group but anyone is welcome to become an assistant organizer which means you can post your own meetups.

Everyone in the meetup can post things on the discussion board like spiritual people parenting or kid-friendly events.

This is a social group. Meet some great folks and have fun!
