An alternative path to parenthood
Boston Coparenting is for anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, considering the idea of conceiving or adopting a child with a nonromantic partner -- and sharing parenting rights and responsibilities. The group also welcomes those already in coparenting relationships.
Although the Boston area abounds with groups that support single motherhood by choice, gay fatherhood, and lesbian motherhood, until now there has not been a group for people interested or engaged in coparenting. Boston Coparenting offers a supportive community for sharing information, ideas, and experiences, as well as meeting potential parenting partners. We host monthly gatherings for people living in Greater Boston, and offer a message board, events listings, and other online tools through this website.
