Welcome, Austin Parents and Kids Who Like to Boogie!

This group is all about dancing activities for children and parents! The purpose of this meetup is to identify activities where both kids and parents can get out on the dance floor and boogie TOGETHER. I am planning on setting up some dance events specifically for family friendly dancing, and I would also like to put other kid-and-parent-friendly music and dancing events, and dance classes, on the calendar. Having kids should not be a spectator activity - dancing with your kids is great exercise and great fun!

This group is intended for all ages. It would be nice to have some of the older kids helping the little ones learn how to dance. Do not worry if your child is too young to learn lines dances. I think it is great for small children to just get out and move to the music!
