Welcome, Parents!

Miss A would like to share what she has learned over a thirty-year journey as advocate, parent and teacher. Angela, affectionately known as Miss A, is concerned that too many children are learning poor eating habits from the very start. Parents interested in a GREEN environment will be interested in attending one of Miss A's meetups on topics covering nutrition; introducing healthy food in a child's diet; understanding the correlation between food and behavior; discipline through reason and negotiation; developing a social consciousness; and building confidence as a tool to handle every day life.

Miss A was educated in the Netherlands where the Montessori concept is a public standard. She arrived in the United States in 1979 and began raising her children. What she found available in childcare didn?t meet her expectations and the idea of Edu-Care, a Montessori-based program was born. Miss A created a place where organic foods are norm, and each child?s strengths and talents are allowed to unfold in an open environment, through communication and the freedom to be who they are. From Shakespeare to Miro´, Edu-Care exposes the child to art and culture in a natural setting.
