The weather is getting nicer. You have young kids (you still need a stroller). Most of the evening meet-ups you want to attend (dinners, concerts, things you used to do before you had kids) are dependent on baby-sitters. You'd like to get out and mix with other Amsterdam expats with young kids in a low-pressure, low-commitment (my kid is freaking out so I need to bail...sorry) way. How about a Sunday stroller stroll in the Vondelpark? The idea would be to meet at 11:00AM at the Koninginneweg/Van …

We organise tours in different parts of the city, exploring the culture and history of Amsterdam and The Netherlands. This is a group for anyone who likes to explore Holland on weekdays and sometimes in the weekends. We'll do nature walks, phototours, city walks, bike tours and make new friends while doing so. My name is Esther and I'm a passionate photographer and nature lover. I recently moved back from New York to Baarn (Utrecht) and would love to meet repats and expats and other like minded people to explore Holland, have a fun time together and share our interests.
Each Friday morning at 10:30 am is the ever-popular "story time" at the bookshop. We sing songs, (such as "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star") read books and draw pictures together. Story Reading lasts for about 30 minutes after which the children have some time to play and the parents enjoy a cup of freshly ground coffee, cappuccino or café Latte. Story Reading is suitable for children older than 12 months but younger than 3 years.
