This group is for mamas that use cloth diapers, are interested in learning more about cloth, or who have cloth diapered children. We are here to support one another and to give advice, words of wisdom, and to have conversation with like-minded mamas. Not only do we care about the environment, but we shop local when we can, we parent with love, we may wear our babies, and are non-judgemental.

Fun and support for families of all stripes! We are a friendly group, hosting play groups, social events, and educational workshops for LGBT parents (and prospective parents) and their families. We are working to support and connect LGBT families in the wider Sacramento area.
I am organizing a group for single mothers who have the desire to travel abroad but have limited resources in the way of childcare and possibly funds. My intention is to organize small travel groups for interesting and exotic destinations that may be intimidating price or logistics wise for mothers traveling with their kids. I'd generally prefer to stay away from cruises and all inclusives as those tend to be doable with/without a network like mine. I will be organizing trips to Europe, Africa, …

This is a meetup for gifted and talented children and their parents. Gifted kids frequently have difficulty finding peers. Their parents also have difficulty networking with other families going through similar struggles. The goal of this group is to foster a supportive community for the gifted here in Sacramento, that will allow our kids to find the close friendships they crave. 2e kids are welcome.

Our group was created to meet other adoptive parents in the Sacramento area. We support each other at monthly meetings and online. We hold monthly activities for the whole family. We organize trainings to educate ourselves about the issues inherent in adoption and in raising children who may have special needs. The group works as a network to help each other with ideas in childraising and in finding solutions to challenges we face.

This is a group for parents of children who do not fit into the educational "box". I would like to get together to share and support each other through what can sometimes be paralyzing and emotionally exhausting. Let's meet to share information about IEP's/504's, educational options and legal rights, as well as share our personal experiences.
Hi there! I am a married mom of two boys. My eldest is 13 and has Autism. My youngest is 5 and 'typical'. As you can see there is a big age difference due to the fear of having another child with Autism. My husband and I faced the same fears as all newly diagnosed parents of Autism. I want to start this group to share resources, stories, successes and also so Mamas like us can have a girls night too! *if Dads are interested in getting together, my Hubby is willing to set up a group as well!*

Fair Oaks Infant/Toddler Playgroup is a play group for stay-at-home moms of infants/toddlers (0-36 months) in the areas of Fair Oaks, Orangevale & Carmichael. This group was created because new moms NEED the opportunity to get together with other new moms at least once a month, and infant/toddler playgroups are very few and far between in our area!! It's fun and encouraging to meet other newer parents who are just learning the ropes, and this is a great way to help moms have that opportunity! …
